About me
I am a former chef who decided to go study biotechnology at 28. 12 years later I've got a bachelor's degree in biotechnology, a masters degree in biology and a PhD in biology with a focus on bioinformatics.
Currently I a working at the German Collection of Microorganisms and Cell Cultures (DSMZ) to work on the BRENDA Enzyme Database as a fullstack web and database developer.
I am always interested into try new technologies, especially web technolgies. In my free time I am busy with 3D printing, DIY, squash and cooking, soccer, reading among other things.
I am always keen to learn new things, explore new technologies, expand my horizons and go beyond my limits.
